Ivars Pinkulis holds a position of a Partner in Prudentia and has more than 21 years experience in corporate finance field. Prior to joining Prudentia he has had previous professional experience in an international auditing company „BDO” (1998-2004) as a corporate finance expert and certified business and intellectual property appraiser. Later Ivars was managing M&A and Project Financing department in Swedbank.

Since joining Prudentia Ivars has successfully led several company sell-side, buy-side and merger projects. Ivars also has an in-depth successful experience in raising a risk capital from international and local Private Equity and Venture Capital funds for already established businesses as well as start-up companies. Ivars holds the major expertise in such promising and fast-growing industries as renewable energy, metalworking, wood processing, production of packaging, printing, road construction, food production and processing, insurance, waste management, etc.

Ivars led also investor attraction process for the sale of the only steel mill in Baltic states "Liepājas Metalurgs" to the Ukrainian strategic investors, the deal becoming one of the largest M&A transactions in Latvia in recent years. 

At the beginning of 2019 Prudentia, representing the interests of one of the world's leading private multi-asset alternative investment firms Bain Capital, successfully closed the transaction where fund portfolio company Consolis (turnover ~ 1.4 billion euros ) acquired Finnish and Latvian operations of TMB Group, one of the main producers of concrete elements in the Baltics and Finland. Ivars initiated the deal in 2017 and in cooperation with multinational team of lawyers and financial professionals successfully closed the deal in spite of unforeseen obstacles related to the negative decision of Estonian Competition Council.
